• Identity and contact details: name, email address and WhatsApp number.
• Application details: course choice, applicant type, college name, skill level and your answers on the form.
• College ID card image or PDF, only if you apply for the student offer.
• Payment status and payment ID. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never stored by us.
• Account details for the student dashboard (email and an encrypted password managed by our authentication provider).
• Course participation: attendance, assignments and GitHub submissions, and your messages in the private community.
• Live session recordings, which may include your name, voice or video if you turn them on during a session.
• Messages you send us through the contact form, email, WhatsApp or booking calls.
• Basic, privacy-friendly website analytics (pages visited, device type) that do not identify you personally.

• To verify your student offer and confirm your enrollment.
• To process payments and refunds.
• To deliver the course: give you access, share schedules, run sessions, review your work and support you.
• To send course updates and important notices by email or WhatsApp.
• To answer your questions and improve our courses and website.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and to prevent fraud or misuse of our content.

We process your data based on the consent you give when you apply, enroll, book or contact us, and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as fulfilling our obligations to you.

College IDs are stored in a private, access-controlled storage area that only the admin can view. They are used only to verify the student offer and are automatically deleted 30 days after verification. We do not use them for anything else.

Live sessions may be recorded so learners can revise. Recordings are shared only with learners of the same batch through the student dashboard and are never published publicly. You may keep your camera and microphone off. You may not record or share sessions yourself (see our Terms).

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the academy, and only what each one needs:

• Razorpay — payments and refunds.
• Supabase — secure database, login and private file storage.
• Resend — sending transactional emails (confirmations, welcome emails, receipts).
• Calendly — booking demo and course calls.
• Cloudflare — website hosting, security and privacy-friendly analytics.
• WhatsApp (Meta) and GitHub — the private community and your course workspace, when you join them.
• The video platform used for live sessions.

We never sell your personal data and never share it for third-party advertising. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, users or content.

Some of these providers may store or process data on servers outside India. We use reputable providers with strong security and only as permitted under Indian law.

• College ID files: deleted 30 days after verification.
• Enrollment, payment and refund records: as long as required by tax and accounting laws.
• Course participation and recordings: for the duration of the course and a reasonable period after, then deleted or anonymised.
• Workshop sign-ups, waitlist entries and contact messages: up to 2 years, or earlier if you ask us to delete them.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), strict access control, private storage, security headers, rate limiting, verified payment signatures and least-privilege access for our own team. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to keep your data safe, and we will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach as required by law.

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

• Get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used.
• Correct, complete or update your data.
• Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law.
• Withdraw your consent at any time (this may end your access to some services).
• Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights in case of death or incapacity.

Our courses are meant for learners aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, you may enroll only with verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. We do not track, profile or target advertising at children.

We use only the essential cookies needed for login and security, and privacy-friendly analytics that do not use advertising cookies. If we ever add Google Analytics or similar tools, we will ask for your consent first.

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page with its date, and we will inform enrolled learners of important changes by email.
